This program is for estheticians and massage therapists who have already successfully completed a Greet The Day

or equivalent oncology foundation

education program.

Join us to review and practice safe massage protocols for clients with or at risk of lymphedema. Lymphedema can develop during, immediately after, or even decades after cancer treatment is complete, and can be triggered by incorrectly provided massage applications. Once triggered, lymphedema is not reversible and can at best be managed.

It is a costly, uncomfortable, and disfiguring long-term side effect of many cancer treatments that affects many survivors.

Common with breast cancer treatment, lymphedema also occurs as a result medical treatment unrelated to cancer, as well as the treatment of other cancers such as ovarian, prostate, and head, neck and thyroid cancer.
