WEEKEND PARKING

Park at the Conference Center

The Conference Center parking structure is almost directly opposite the Cancer Center on Hoag Drive, and is the sturcture located between PCH and the Cancer Center.

When you park here please do not park in any of the parking structure bays shown to be for 2-hours only, these are exclusively reserved for hospital patients.

PLEASE NOTE: If there is a special event scheduled for the day and the Conference Center parking space is required for that you may be directed to park in the Sunset Lot - see notes for that above. This sometimes happens so allow time in your morning set up for this.

Lunch

The hospital cafeteria that we visit for lunch entails a 10-minute roundtrip walk. Drive arrangements can be made for people with walking difficulties.

If you prefer to bring your own lunchbox, the hospital cafeteria is fine with us bringing in our own food and has a microwave you can use if needed.

If you prefer some time off campus during your lunch break, there are many other options for good food available in the area.

How to find the cancer center

From Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) take the turn onto the Hoag Hospital campus at the light close to Royal Thai Cusine.

From there, take a quick right, then turn left into the Cancer Center parking lot which is the 4th driveway, and just past the Advanced Technology Pavilion. You are now in front of the cancer center.

What to do with your massage table

It is safe to offload your massage table, linens and accesories at the Cancer Center entrance, and then move your car to the designated parking area. Please do not leave your car in front of the cancer center for longer than 10-minutes as this parking area is exclusively reserved for patients.

The Hoag Hospital campus is large so do not depend solely on your GPS or you may end up at the wrong place.

The easiest access to the cancer center is from the lower campus entrance on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) at the Hoag Drive traffic signal located between Newport Blvd and Superior Avenue.

WEEK DAY PARKING

Park in the Sunset Lot

To reach the Sunset Lot return to where you entered the lower campus and at the stop street continue on straight to the Sunset Lot parking area.

It is a 10-minute walk from the Sunset Lot to the Cancer Center or if you prefer a ride, there is a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes between Sunset Lot and the Cancer Center.
